SAN JOSE, Calif. – Oct. 17, 2017 – PRLog — Aeon Matrix Inc. announced the availability of Yardian, the world’s first multi-functional smart device that automatically controls outdoor water usage and has a built-in security camera. The Yardian device aims to make yards greener and homes more secure.
According to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), as much as 50% of U.S. residential outdoor water usage is wasted due to inefficient watering methods and systems. With water shortage becoming a very real concern, it is clear a better and more effective solution is needed.
Yardian makes irrigation control smarter, featuring 12-zone and 8-zone watering capacities with Wi-Fi or Power-line connectivity. Yardian also incorporates property zone profiles and local weather data to automatically determine the optimal watering schedule for any yard and garden.
For security, Yardian keeps constant vigil over your garage and yard. With the always-on Internet connection, a property owner is able to view real-time video streaming anytime and anywhere. The Yardian also detects motion and may be programmed to notify the owner instantly. In addition, when connected with cloud services, Yardian may generate and tailor time-lapse video clips.
Aeon Matrix has made it simple and flexible to install the Yardian. An optional, all-weather Terminal Box (Tbox) provides an extension cable to allow more flexible installation to any desired location. The Tbox can easily be installed at the original location to replace the former irrigation timer.
As more and more drought-affected cities start rolling out Stage 2 or even Stage 3 water restrictions, Yardian’s unique water restriction database helps property owners stay on top of the latest water usage rules and changes.
The MSRP for the 12-zone unit is $249.00 and the 8-zone unit is $199.00 respectively. Yardian smart irrigation controllers are now available for pre-order on www.yardian.com.
