FALL RIVER, Mass. – Dec. 20, 2017 – PRLog — St. Anne’s Credit Union recently held two identity theft seminars at their Corporate Office and new Dartmouth Branch location. As fraud can take many different forms including identity theft, debit card fraud, check fraud and a wide variety of scams – staying aware of the many kinds of fraudulent activity is key – and St. Anne’s wanted to share the tools and resources available to them with the local community.

More than sixty individuals attended the seminars to listen to guest speakers that included representatives from St. Anne’s as well as local law enforcement from the financial crimes unit. The topics included an overview of identity theft, financial crimes case studies, best practices to safeguard personal information and St. Anne’s cybersecurity technology systems – as well as tools the Credit Union uses to combat fraud.
